We are inviting artists, creatives and craftspeople to become involved. Do you have a product to promote and sell that could fit the X-Mas mould and make a timely gift or stocking filler? We have rails to rent for the month or ample space to showcase your work and sell by commission through us. Preferably affordability is the key for this pop-up. Cards, dolls, garments, prints, bags and nik-naks a plenty. Our location is right on the catchment of the Winter Wonderland and German market in Princes St Gardens.

As usual the very nature of a pop-up means time is racing hastily towards the launch in December. Please get in touch (below) if you have the creative spark we so crave.

The Launch Party
The launch party has been and gone like a whirlwind. ‘go reborn’ was packed with revelling punters. Andy Thoms and his girls Ali and Marie did us proud by supplying (and serving) their world-famous Bilgewater Gin to soon-merry customers, and Jamie and the girls at Red Bull poured rum and vodka cocktails with lashings of lime juice and ice. Photographer Dave Anderson was on hand to take portrait photos of the ‘go reborn’ crew and their fellow party-goers in various states of gin-fuelled joy. The dressing room was a busy flow of people trying on Godiva’s reworked dresses (many made on-site in our workshop) and our artists fared well; Solas Nicol and Tom Hutchinson both sold their photographic prints to keen and admiring art-fans; Elliot Neave’s video of Claudia Massie painting the skyline was a sped-up, jerky work of art in itself; in the hot room, Aberdonian Ricky Gibbs’ interactive video installation looked brilliant.

There was a raddled atmosphere of shouts and cheers as folk perused the ‘go reborn’ project; a glaring success, certainly, and more importantly a happy ambience of like-minded folk brought together by the ever-glamorous Fleur MacIntosh and her ragtag collective of futurists. (AF Giles)

Godiva Boutique owner Fleur Macintosh has revolutionised the vintage and recycled fashion scene with a massively successful made-to-measure line currently flying off the rails. Her hardcore one-off mentality within Edinburgh’s fashion scene has been aped but never mastered, and this summer we take it a step further with the ‘go reborn’ initiative.

Pop-up culture is by nature elusive. But when it does appear, oozing out of the pavement cracks, something very special occurs. Think Fritz Lang-inspired Tunnel 228, a 15-day culture happening in the bowels of the English capital that shook London to its very core. Even The Clash’s Mick Jones has taken advantage of the supernatural pop-up beast and opened a temporary rock n’ roll library for treasure-hunting geek enthusiasts. Fashion weeks across the globe have started to embrace the pop-up culture, with surprise stores springing up in vacant lots across cities full of flamboyant one-off pieces. Anyone can enter a pop-up store, if they can find it, and its short-fused life is born, burns and dies like a comet, quick, frenetic, hot and brilliant. Pop-up is something that grabs its barrio by the scruff of the neck and shakes it - inspiring expression, community and rapture all round.
