We will be hosting an evening in Godiva at 9 West Port to introduce some new designers to the showroom, namely WELOVEPUMPKIN, CHOUCHOU COUTURE, TEA AT AUNTIES and the infamous LAURA LEES. Additionally ROWANJOY will be showing her latest collection and we will be welcoming back designer KATHRYN TART who was one of the original Godiva team and has returned after working extensively in film and television for the last 3 years.

WE LOVE PUMPKIN - EDINBURGH
A unique and exclusive collection.   welovepumpkin's range of customized vintage clothing includes pieces made from vintage Harris Tweed jackets, vintage Dunn & Co. vintage school blazers, vintage cashmere coats and vintage ski wear.    Each item in the range has been reworked in welovepumpkin's inimitable style...   

CHOUCHOU COUTURE – ITALY & GLASGOW
"Chouchou Couture is an emerging, Glasgow based designer label. We create bespoke and limited release garments and accessories inspired by the same city girls that choose and layer our pieces. The S/S 2010 Collection has been created mixing elements of vintage Italian tailoring and the lifestyle of the U.S. West Coast. All garments and accessories have been handmade ethically in Rome using local cottons, silks and leathers."

TEA AT AUNTIES
This Edinburgh based designer latest work has moved into extremely cute children’s wear for S/S10. Appliqué jackets, stripey legging, pretty dresses and bags. Each pieces is hand made with a mix of vintage fabrics and a lot of creative charm.

ROWANJOY – S/S 2010
Based in Godiva studio and a favourite for years this latest work by Rowanjoy is some of her best work to date. A mix of florals and stripes, big shapes and tailored waistlines this colourful collection has been influenced by frills and fans, with elements and details of 1930’s dresses combined to create a collection for flirty days and fun nights.

LAURA LEES
Originally from Edinburgh Laura lees graduated in constructed textiles and embroidery and found her fashion forte in idiosyncratic embroidery that has now gained recognition by fashion insiders and her work has appeared in some of the most prestigious fashion publications including vogue and V magazine. Over the years she has had key pieces in Selfridges, had a hugely successful relationship with commission work with Topshop. With all these acclaimed collections we are really excited to be now the only store in Scotland with Laura’s S/S collection. Heavily embroidered silk jackets, chiffon skirts and silk and cotton dresses don’t miss the chance to see and own part of this incredible collection.

For years we have been sourcing vintage from all over Europe, which has allowed for a wonderfully varied and top quality range of stock. To extend to this we have now discovered a British source were we are fortunate enough to be able to hand pick every item. We are very excited about this new relationship and venture. Vintage is never going be so good!

We will be hosting a stall at the acclaimed “AFFORDABLE VINTAGE FASHION FAIR”.
These fairs are on all over the country and the largest of its kind. Serving 15 cities this fair has been hailed as a ‘shopping phenomenon’, and it’s great to finally have an event in Edinburgh. So vintage lovers should not miss this opportunity to grab a bargain at this event.
